Growing up as a chubby kid, I wasn’t satisfied with my looks, I was unhealthy, relying on junk food and completely sedentary. One day, I realized that I have to take action and change for the better. I joined the gym, and days turned into years, I fell in love with the process. My first two years of training were fine, but I felt like I have a bigger potential. My training and nutrition weren’t optimized, so I decided that it’s time for guidance by someone who is more educated and more experienced in the field.
Unfortunately, I chose a wrong coach that put me on an extreme diet with lots of cardio and training(cookie cutter plan). The process drained my body, can you imagine a 200 pounds muscular male set on 1200 calories with 60 minutes of cardio per day just because he wants to be in a better shape? What do you think the consequence of such things were? I GAINED all the weight back extremely fast, my motivation and drive for training were non existent.
However, I still believed in myself and I didn’t give up. Luckily, I encountered a credible coach that guided me in the right way. I was really happy with the process and I decided that I should also make an impact in this field. I started developing my knowledge in training and nutrition through research and university. I believe everyone will benefit from guidance at some point.
